Scott Ruhoff Owner
Scott has owned the business since 1996. He started his career with a local landscape firm selling and installing Invisible Fencing for dogs; Soon he was volunteered to be their "lighting guy". He found that he loved the creativity and technicality involved in outdoor lighting. Over the years, Scott has continuallly trained and improved his lighting skills, through involvement in national lighting organizations and seminars, and especially through the late nights involved in "on-the-job" lighting experimentation and fine-tuning.
Scott has been a long-time member of the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP) and is the only Idaho contractor to earn their certifcation (CLVLT#0527). Scott is married, has two wonderful and very active young sons, and a very patient wife who has let him go out repeatedly "after dark" for all the years it's taken him to hone his craft.
Jesse
Jesse has been with After Dark since the beginning (plus he's known Scott since they were kids and still puts up with him). Jesse's responsibilities include both installation and service management-- He's our "go-to" for service calls, since he's the guy who knows virtually every detail of every fixture on all our hundreds and hundreds of projects.
